HAUL: VICTORIA CASAL COUTURE

The most iconic kitty in the world, with French designer Victoria Casal, gave birth to VICTORIA CASAL COUTURE, a line inspired by everything glam and Hello Kitty.

Victoria Casal is a jewelry designer by profession. Fans of her creations and of Hello Kitty were delighted at the release of the Victoria Couture in 2006/2007.

The philosophy of the brand states that "It is like opening a door on the magical childhood world, with imagery that rules our fantasy ever since, as children, we were told bedtime stories. When we used to dream about elves, pixies, fairies, wizards, princesses and beautiful romantic princes." (brandfeature.net)

Who doesn't love this fashionable kitty? I was such a Hello Kitty fan, particularly the Sanrio characters when I was young. And until now, I am still delighted by this fabulous cat. Seeing anything Hello Kitty gives me this nostalgic feel. It takes me back to my pretty and pink childhood where I've once dreamed of becoming a princess with Hello Kitty as the royal cat of the court.

When you say couture, expect that things don't come at a cheap cost. I paid this store a visit and drooled at the super cute Hello Kitty items from accessories to luggages! And my eyes also popped at the sight of the hefty price tags.

When the store went on a sale, all I could afford is a tee. But at least, I had something from the store. It's a piece of couture in a measly price!

The paper bag is pink and cute! :D

A gray tee with my favorite cat on it. :)

When I have tons of cash, I'll get one of their super cute luggages!

Victoria Casal couture has opened its flagship store at the Burgos Circle, Forbestown, The Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Drop by and enter a world of magic and couture!

HAUL+REVIEW: PARIS HILTON PURSES

After enjoying her success in the perfume industry, Paris Hilton ventures once again into another opportunity: Paris Hilton Purses. Her bags and accessories line is carried and released by Retouch Brands.

According to the website, the styles are inspired by her daily looks and personal taste: Sexy, fun, flirty, sweet, glamorous, and exquisite.

I received two pleasant surprises from my mother when she got back from her Malaysia trip.

I saw the Paris Hilton store at the Newport Mall, Resorts World. Her bags reminds me of Lulu, but at a much expensive cost.

As I've said, her bags are inspired by her personal taste and style. I didn't know that this singlehood- lovin' and man- hopping heiress dreams of becoming a mummy one day, which explains why this bag looks like a diaper bag.

It is made of the material similar to the ones used to make Le Sportsac bags. This zippered tote is quite roomy, which makes it a perfect shopping bag. On days where I have to bring my dslr, books and notebooks, this one will be the perfect go- to bag. And this bag is quite lightweight too!

This bag costs RM359 (approximately 5000+php). If we are talking about convenience, this bag is worth it. But for the price and style, I wouldn't splurge on one. I'd rather buy another Longchamp.

Moving forward. Mom also got me a wallet from the same brand.

I must say the box is cute. It also comes with a dust bag inside.

For sure, I am NOT liking the Paris Hilton initials embroidered all over the wallet. It would've been nice if it had cute drawings of hearts, tiaras, or even her chihuahua Tinkerbell on it. Talk about the inability to detach one's self from a personal creation, huh?

But at least, it's a roomy wallet. There's definitely room for my cards, coins, and bills. I also smell leather. Yes, it is made of real leather.

If you're a fan of the pink heiress, or if you simply find her stuff cool and cute, I suggest you buy anything from the brand. But honestly speaking, it ain't worth the moolah.

HAULS: HAVAIANAS, FOREVER 21, FULLY BOOKED

Forever 21 fans and lovers from the South, no need to dread the commute to SM Megamall because Forever 21's SM Makati branch has finally opened.

It is a tad smaller than the Megamall branch. But I find the size of this Makati branch just right. There are just too much clothes in the Megamall branch, and I'm always having a hard time deciding on what I want. And worse, I end up buying stuff that I don't need.

I might have missed it, but I think this branch does not carry the 12by12 line of F21.

SM gave away P500 vouchers for those who were there during the formal opening of the store to the public. Unluckily, I arrived later in the afternoon of the opening. But it's okay. I am saving myself from the hassle of having to shop with a mob of people!

This just goes to show how big this F21 branch is for SM Makati. It occupied half of the department store area!

And as usual, I am never without my hauls. I love f21. I find their pricing quite cheap. And most importantly, the clothes and styles fit my taste. Without further adieu, I present my Forever 21 SM Makati branch hauls.

A very pretty top! But I think I need a white tank top underneath this because it keeps on running up my torso!

I love this top. It makes sexy look classy. :)

I'm into chiffon right now. This top looks so dressy and makes you look feminine.

A pretty lilac- colored chiffon dress. Makes me look so girly! Now I have to find a wedge for this dress.

A new dress calls for a new pair of shoes. When I saw Bea Alonzo wearing a pair of nude patent heels, I knew I had to get one because it looks good on any piece of clothing that you'll wear!

I love it! :)

A chic pair of earrings to add a touch of drama to my lazy looks.

A cute bag. This will add spice to my vintage looks. :)

Apart from my SM Makati strolling, I went to The Fort High street later in the evening to meet up with my brother. And here are a few hauls.

I'm never without a book (or a notebook) whenever I stop by Fully Booked. I got this one because it is included in the TOP 100 BOOKS YOU SHOULD READ BEFORE YOU DIE list. :)

A summer- colored havaianas trek in violet. I think this will go perfect with my much- awaited Cambridge Company Satchel in purple. :)

And lastly, I snagged this super cute pair of Havaianas for the first birthday of my inaanak. :)

CLOSET POTIONS: MESSY BESSY FABRIC FRESHENER

Here's am initial review on MESSY BESSY FABRIC FRESHENER

PRICE: 130PHP
PLACE BOUGHT: MAKE ROOM, THE FORT HIGH STREET, FORT BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY
OTHER LOCATIONS: MESSY BESSY DISTRIBUTORS; MAKE ROOM OUTLETS NATIONWIDE

THE VERDICT:

If you're a fan of fragrant sheets, or wearing the clothing you've worn for the second time around, then a fabric freshener should be found in your closet.

I have to admit that I always do the two stuff I've mentioned above. Nice and fragrant sheets calm and soothe my mind, and gives me this feeling that they're clean. And since I conserve water, I sometimes wear some of clothes twice-- even thrice and four times.

This is an accidental find. I was waiting for my turn at the Make Room counter when I spotted this along with some bottles. It's a new product by my favorite organic household products line, Messy Bessy.

Messy Bessy's Fabric Freshener is a blend of organic essential oils that refreshes sheets and used clothing. It takes away any pungent smell clinging on any cloth so that clothes and sheets will feel and smell like new again. It has this soothing citrus scent (I suspect bergamot, neroli, mint, and citrus oils).

The best thing about this is, it gives you more reason to conserve water, wear your favorite pair of jeans for the nth time, and most especially, it's proudly Filipino made, so no excess fuel was used to transport this to the country.
